We would eat it plain, or sprinkled with a little sugar. Recently, the toast has been making a come back. Ever since early 2014, the avocado toast has been featured on the Instagrams of every major foodie and fashion blogger. One of the biggest trends of the moment is the Australian avocado toast. Its your regular green toast topped with poached eggs. I, being a bacon lover had to add bacon to the mix. See for yourself, and let me know if it does the trick!

  • 1 toast
  • 2 strips of bacon
  • 2 tablespoons of vinegar (for egg poaching)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 thin slices of tomatoes
  • half an avocado


1. Poach your eggs. (Comment below if you would a tutorial on how to poach eggs).

3. Gather all your ingredients, and slice your avocado.

4. Assemble your toast avocado first (for a good base).
