Career | The E-Project with Jodianne Beckford

I’ve known Jodianne since summer 2015 when I started blogging. She’s the first photographer to ever make me feel 100% comfortable in front of the camera. Without her help, I probably wouldn’t be blogging today. She’s had this really cool project called The E-Project for a while now, and for the last two years I’ve been itching to get on it. On the E-Project, Jodianne gives young entrepreneurs a platform to share their stories, in hopes of inspiring others. My E-Project had been on the books for the last two years. Sadly, something always happened and it kept getting delayed; mostly because I took a hiatus from all creative things because of work. Now that I’m officially a young entrepreneur, Jodianne and I spent last Wednesday together shooting photos, amazing film footage (by Shameen Miller) and a podcast. I couldn’t have been happier with the results.I’m beyond grateful to Jodianne for giving me the opportunity to hopefully inspire others with my E-Project. The whole shoot was such a great experience. It was my first time shooting BTS video footage as well, and I was pretty nervous. Luckily, Shameen was AMAZING. The three of us bonded so much during the shoot and what came out of it was beautiful content. When Shameen sent me the videos (the other video will be released later), I was smiling from ear to ear. Jodianne then sent me the photos this morning and I lost it. In all honesty, I think I’ve found my dream team.

I hope my E-Project inspires someone. Most likely I talked a whole lot about nothing, but I hope someone can find a little something in my mumblings. I’m so proud of Jodianne and how she’s been able to grow this project of hers, and can’t wait to see what else is in store for her and Shameen as they continue to work together.
