Personal | Letter From The Editor

I can’t believe I’m one of those people always saying things like “I can’t believe it’s already April”! I really can’t believe how fast the days are going. 2017 has been pretty whirlwind for me since January 1st. As you may already know, I left my job on January 20th and spent the most amazing 27 days in Thailand working with my Mengrai Thai family and relaxing. I came back with a new lease in life and spent the month of March setting up my marketing and public relations agency, NKL Marketing.

After 31 days of 24/7 work, I finally have a business that’s up and running. March 2017 showed me God’s blessings and love in a way I had never experienced before, and for that I couldn’t be more thankful. I’m happy to announce that my company website finally launches tomorrow, and that I have two amazing young women working for me. To top it all off, I have amazing clients who trust me with their companies. Just like the first day of spring came last month, I’m finally starting to see the fruits of my hard work and dedication.

This month on the blog will be the start of regular content. I did mention in a previous post that I was working on finding my work-blog balance, and I finally did. I will be adhering to a Monday to Thursday blog schedule, with Fridays being my day off from the blog, but you can always catch me on Instagram or Snapchat.

Some of the things I’ll touch on this month will be healthy living (summer’s coming, so we all have to work on our summer bodies), I’ll share some Congolese food recipes, talk about my updated spring skincare routine with Neostrata, tips for living a more balanced life, and more. Since Easter is on the 16th, I’ll also be sharing some fun DIYs for you all to try.

If there’s anything you’d like to see on the blog this month, let me know in the comment section.
