It’s not everyday you get to wear a gown and head to a gala. Growing up, I told myself that I’ll attend galas every weekend when I’m older and will sit on the board of many charities. Well, I got what I wished for and it wasn’t as glamourous. Planning a gala is a lot of stress and work. Fortunately, we had an amazing team and pulled off an amazing event. We even raised a lot of money to send very deserving girls to summer camp I’m so proud of our team.

For the gala, I rented this beautiful Christopher Paunil gown from Rent Frock Repeat. I truly felt like a princess. Because the gown made such a statement, I kept my makeup at a minimum and went with a simple up-do. Because we were short on time, I ended up doing my own hair and makeup, I think it turned out beautifully.

Luckily my friend Jodianne was the event photographer and managed to get a few snaps of me in this gown. I also got to show off my engagement ring all night (which I’m absolutely obsessed with).
